Luminous is woven in Turkey from shrink polyester and polyester, five designs on cream grounds with beige and red, beige and green, rust, and beige and navy, plus a multi. The shrink yarn gives the pattern a lightly carved surface. Sizes are 5'x7', 8'x10' and 9'x12'. Polyester takes saturated color and feels soft, and the low pile cleans with mild soap and water and does not snag on claws, so it suits a living or dining room with pets.
