- Is the Venedik rug good for homes with pets?
- Yes. It is woven in shrink polyester & polyester at a dense, low pile, so there is no loop for a claw to pull and nothing that sheds into a coat. Accidents blot up off the surface and the rug takes mild soap and water without the color bleeding or the pile matting.
- What sizes does the Venedik rug come in?
- This colorway is woven in 3 sizes, from 5' x 7' to 8' x 10', in rectangle shapes. Pick the size by the furniture, not the room: in a living room the front legs of every seat should land on the rug, and under a dining table you want two feet of rug past the table on every side so a chair stays on it when someone stands up.
- How do you clean a shrink polyester & polyester rug?
- Vacuum with the beater bar off. Blot spills straight away with a dry cloth rather than rubbing, then clean the spot with mild soap and warm water and let it dry fully before walking on it. Keep bleach and solvent cleaners away from it, and give the rug a quarter turn once or twice a year so it wears evenly.
- Where is the Venedik rug made?
- It is woven in Turkey by Dynamic Rugs, on power looms. It is machine made rather than hand knotted, which is what keeps a rug this detailed at this price, and it is why every piece of one design is identical to the next.
- How long does delivery take, and what does shipping cost?
- Shipping is free anywhere in the contiguous United States, with no minimum order. Tracking is emailed the moment the rug is on its way. Rugs of 9' x 12' and larger travel by freight carrier, and the carrier calls to arrange the drop-off.
